Your Privacy
What a family shares with us is a trust, not an asset. This page explains, plainly, what information MemoryPath collects and how it's used.
Last updated: July 26, 2026
What we collect
MemoryPath collects only what you choose to give us. Right now, that's limited to the Contact form: your name, email address, the reason for your message, and whatever you write. We don't have user accounts, and we don't track you across the site.
Like virtually every website, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information for security and performance — things like IP address and browser type — for a limited time. We don't access this data for any purpose beyond keeping the site running safely.
How we use it
If you contact us, we use your information only to read and respond to your message. We don't add you to a mailing list, share your message with third parties for marketing, or use it for anything beyond the conversation you started.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run MemoryPath — including hosting and email routing for messages sent to hello@memorypath.org. These providers process data only as needed to make the site function; they don't have independent rights to use it. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers.
Cookies & tracking
MemoryPath does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We don't run Google Analytics or any similar service.
Data retention
Messages sent through the Contact form are kept only as long as needed to respond to you and for a reasonable record afterward. We don't maintain a database of visitor information.
Children's privacy
MemoryPath is intended for adults seeking information about dementia and caregiving. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
As MemoryPath grows, this policy will be updated to reflect any new features — like accounts or analytics — before those features launch, not after. We'll update the date above whenever that happens.
Questions
If you have questions about this policy or your information, email us at hello@memorypath.org.
